We toured LA by riding the new subway and getting off at several stops, seeing Olvera Street and Union Station, Angels' Flight and the Bradbury Building, etc.
No one asked to see our subway tickets, so Peter dubbed it the "Don't ask - don't tell" subway. The picture above was taken at the hotel at the top of Angels' Flight (the block-long tram which is no longer in service because it crashed and killed a man shortly after our trip).
