(I was teaching Senior English that year.)
1956- I was a Senior at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois and practice teaching Senior English at Lake Forest High School.
I graduated in February, 1957, returned to California and 4 days later started teaching 7th grade English/Social Studies (C's and under). I was their 3rd teacher that school year and they were my first 7th graders- ----not a fair fight!
